Top ranked Chiba Jets (38-5) recorded its fifth loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Sendai 89ers (15-28) 88-77. It ended at the same time the 24-game winning streak of Chiba Jets. Sendai 89ers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Chiba Jets' 30. Chiba Jets at the other side still keep top position with five games lost. Sendai 89ers is looking forward to face league's second-placed Ryukyu GK in Okinawa in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chiba Jets will play on the road against Niigata A. and are hoping to win this game.
