It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Pioneers players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Heroes were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Taiwanese guard Benson Lin (193-1999, college: Bryant) stepped up and scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. American-Austrian swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-1990, college: Virginia, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Hanlin Tao (208-1991) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds.
