Regular Season Round 42: Toyama G. - Shiga L-Stars 87-96

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eighth ranked Shiga L-Stars (6-35) won against on the road 7th ranked Toyama G. (7-34) 96-87 on Saturday. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (207-1991) notched 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Kai Toews (188-1998, college: UNCW) supported him with 14 points and 13 assists. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Even 29 points by American forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) did not help to save the game for Toyama G.. His fellow American import center Joshua Smith (208-1992, college: Georgetown) added 21 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
