An exciting game was played in Kokshetay. Aktobe faced Okzhetpes. Guests from Aktobe (15-5) defeated host Okzhetpes (11-9) 63-59. Aktobe forced 25 Okzhetpes turnovers. It was a good game for Armenian guard Inga Manucharyan (177-2000) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Russian center Alexandra Plyasova (194-1987) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Kamila Amanzholova (163-2004) answered with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Ulyana Kudrevtseva (175-1999) added 10 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Okzhetpes. Aktobe will play against Shymkent (#3) in Kazygurt in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Okzhetpes will play on the road against Barsy Atyr. in Atyrau and hope to get back on the winning track.
