Bottom-ranked Shinagawa managed to get the third consecutive victory. This time they won against seventh-ranked Okayama 82-73. They outrebounded Okayama 45-29 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Okayama was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds. Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Shinagawa players scored in double figures. American forward Jerome Tillman (201-1987, college: Ohio) answered with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-1991) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Okayama. Okayama's coach Kenji Hilke rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Shinagawa have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixteenth place with 6-38 record. Okayama at the other side keeps the seventh position with 20 games lost. Shinagawa will play against higher ranked Veertien Mie (#10) in Yokkaichi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Okayama will play on the road against Tachikawa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
