An interesting game for Taiyuan Textile (7-1) which played against 4th placed Taipower (1-7). First ranked Taiyuan Textile managed to get a 11-point victory 84-73. Taiyuan Textile players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Tieh Lin (182-1999) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Hsiao-Tong Peng (168-1998) helped adding 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Taiyuan Textile players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (173-1991) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and center Zi-Yu Yang (180-1995) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiyuan Textile have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-1 record. Taipower lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Taiyuan Textile will play against Chunghwa Telecom (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taipower will play against the league's second-placed Cathay Life and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
