Rather predictable result in Akita where sixth ranked Toyota BSR (15-8) outscored 9th ranked Aranmare A. (8-15) 87-51 on Saturday. It was a great evening for international Nanako Todo (175-2000) who led her team to a victory scoring 9 points. Point guard Misora Inami (167-2003) helped adding 11 points. Airi Kitagawa (172-1998) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Chihiro Sato (168-1997) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota BSR moved-up to fifth place. Aranmare A. lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Aishin AW. Toyota BSR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aranmare A. will play again against Toyota BSR (#5) and hope to secure a win.
