Second Stage Round 2: Turan - Astana Tigers 70-48

An exciting game was played in Turkistan. Turan faced Astana Tigers. Host Turan smashed guests from Astana 70-48. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Russian guard Arina Glazacheva (178-1995) chipped in 15 points. The former international center Anna Bezgodova (192-1992) produced 4 points and 12 rebounds and forward Dariya Tsukanova (178-2007) added 8 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turan are looking forward to face Tomiris in Almaty in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Astana Tigers will have a break next round.
