CBA top team - Golden Bulls (27-4) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (15-17) in Nanjing 111-92. Golden Bulls forced 20 Jiangsu Dragons turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Jiangsu Dragons helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Jarmar Gulley (196-1991, college: Missouri St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 4 steals. The former international point guard Qian Wu (188-1994) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Golden Bulls players scored in double figures. American guard Antonio Blakeney (193-1996, college: LSU) answered with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and center Quanxi Wu (211-1994) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for Jiangsu Dragons. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Golden Bulls have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 27-4 record. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side keep the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Guangzhou LL. Golden Bulls are looking forward to face Eagles (#15) in Qingdao in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play on the road against Monkey Kings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
