Rather predictable result when first ranked Chiba Jets (35-4) defeated at home 5th ranked Tochigi Brex (20-19) 81-68 on Wednesday. Chiba Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Christopher Smith (193-1994, college: Utah St.) fired 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-1993) chipped in 9 points and 11 assists. American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import center Grant Jerrett (208-1993, college: Arizona) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba Jets have an impressive 21-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 35-4 record. Defending champion Tochigi Brex keeps the fifth place with 19 games lost. Chiba Jets will meet at home Hokkaido L.
