Seventh-ranked Toyama G. (7-32) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Hitachi SRT (17-20) in Tokyo on Wednesday. Hitachi SRT managed to secure only two-point victory 93-91. However their fans expected easier game. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International point guard Leo Vendrame (183-1993) fired 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. British forward Myles Hesson (198-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 32 points and American forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) added 27 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Hitachi SRT have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 17-20 record. Toyama G. lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 32 games lost. Hitachi SRT will meet San-en NP (#5) in the next round. Toyama G. will play against Shinshu BW in Nagano and hope to secure a win.
