Regular Season Round 24: Kings - Dreamers 111-105

Very significant was Kings' (#1, 19-5) victory against 4th ranked Dreamers (11-15) 111-105. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dreamers. They outrebounded Dreamers 61-46 including 18 on the offensive glass. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international center Chin-Min Yang (190-1984) chipped in 24 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman SirDominic Pointer (198-1992, college: St.John's) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks and the former international point guard Chun-Chi Lin (175-1998) added 23 points and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kings (19-5) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Dreamers keep the fourth place with 15 games lost. Kings' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Taipei Fubon Braves.
