Regular Season Round 24: Dreamers - Lioneers 111-93

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Dreamers and 5th ranked Lioneers had identical 10-15 record. This time Dreamers defeated the opponent Hsinchu 111-93 on Sunday night. Dreamers looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was Turkish Ilkan Karaman (205-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds. The former international point guard Chun-Chi Lin (175-1998) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and the former international power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) added 14 points and 17 rebounds respectively. Four Dreamers and five Lioneers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamers maintains fourth position with 11-15 record. Lioneers lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 16 games lost. Dreamers will meet league's leader Kings in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Lioneers will play against Steelers (#6) in Kaohsiung and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
