Regular Season Round 42: Yamagata - Bambitious N. 93-85

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Yamagata (18-26) defeated at home their close opponent Bambitious N. (13-31) 93-85 on Saturday. American James Bell (196-1992, college: Villanova, agency: Slash Sports) scored 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Thomas Welsh (213-1996, college: UCLA, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 21 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Christian James (194-1996, college: Oklahoma) with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Portuguese Jeremiah Wilson (205-1988, college: Tarleton St.) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bambitious N. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yamagata maintains sixth position with 18-26 record which they share with defeated Bambitious N. Loser Bambitious N. keeps the sixth place with 31 games lost. Yamagata will again meet at home Bambitious N. (#6) in the next round. Bambitious N. will have a break next round.
