Very expected game when 15th ranked Yamaguchi (12-30) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Tokyo HT (14-28) 94-83 on Friday. Tokyo HT had a 34-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Michael Phillips (202-1990, college: Howard) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds and Jamaican-British center Ryan Richards (212-1991) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Tokyo HT and four Yamaguchi players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokyo HT maintains eleventh position with 14-28 record, which they share with Kanazawa and Shanan Utd. Yamaguchi at the other side dropped to the fourteenth place with 30 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
