Regular Season Round 1: Al Wakrah - Al Khor 85-78

Al Khor recorded a loss on the court of Al Wakrah. Visitors were defeated by Al Wakrah 85-78. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 45 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard John Crosby (190-1996, college: Delaware St.) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists and 9 steals. His fellow American import guard Donte McGill (190-1995, college: FIU, agency: Green Sports Management) contributed with 31 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals for the winners. McGill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Tony Criswell (205-1991, college: Missouri) answered with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international center Aladji Bobo Magassa (206-2000) added 11 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists in the effort for Al Khor. Four Al Khor players scored in double figures. Al Wakrah will play against Al Arabi in Doha in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Al Khor will have a break next round.
