Regular Season Round 13: Terrafirma Dyip - NLEX RW 125-142

Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Makati City: NLEX RW (#3) and Terrafirma Dyip (#11). Terrafirma Dyip was crushed at home by 17 points 125-142. NLEX RW shot 61.9 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 23 long-distance shots on high 59.0 percentage. NLEX RW looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. American Wayne Selden (196-1994, college: Kansas, agency: Slash Sports) fired 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Don Trollano (191-1992) chipped in 44 points (!!!). American swingman Jordan Williams (198-1992, college: N.Texas) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Juan Tiongson (178-1991) added 38 points (!!!), 5 assists and 5 steals respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. NLEX RW maintains third place with 7-3 record behind leader TNT Tropang. Terrafirma Dyip lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. NLEX RW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Terrafirma Dyip will play against Hotshots (#6) in Pasig City and hope to secure a win.
