An interesting game was played in Doha where Al Rayyan beat host Al Gharafa 68-56 on Wednesday evening. Al Rayyan looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. Senegalese power forward Mouhammad Faye (207-1985, college: SMU) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and American guard Malik Curry (185-1999, college: WVU, agency: Green Sports Management) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists.
