Regular Season Round 41: Kagawa FA - Saga B. 75-82

B2 League top team - Saga B. (36-7) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Kagawa FA (12-31) in Takamatsu 82-75. Saga B. made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Kagawa FA outrebounded Saga B. 45-26 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Takanobu Nishikawa (195-1992) who scored 27 points and 7 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). American forward Terrance King (198-1990, college: ESU, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. American Kyle Richardson (200-1991, college: Portland St.) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Nigel Spikes (208-1989, college: Marshall) added 6 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Kagawa FA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saga B. have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 36-7 record. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the seventh position with 31 games lost. Saga B. will meet at home Fukuoka R. (#5) in the next round. Kagawa FA will play against the league's second-placed Nagasaki and hope to secure a win.
