Regular Season Round 40: Kagawa FA - Saga B. 58-77

B2 League top team - Saga B. (35-7) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Kagawa FA (12-30) in Takamatsu 77-58. The winners were led by American Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) who scored that evening 18 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and the former international forward Takanobu Nishikawa (195-1992) supported him with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Even 23 points and 9 rebounds by American Kyle Richardson (200-1991, college: Portland St.) did not help to save the game for Kagawa FA. His fellow American import center Nigel Spikes (208-1989, college: Marshall) added 7 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saga B. have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 35-7 record. Loser Kagawa FA dropped to the sixth place with 30 games lost. They share the position with Bambitious N.. Saga B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kagawa FA will play again against the league's leader Saga B. (#1) and hope to secure a win.
