NLEX RW made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American Wayne Selden (196-1994, college: Kansas, agency: Slash Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Kevin Alas (183-1991) supported him with 28 points. Even 26 points and 4 assists by guard Rey Nambatac (179-1994) did not help to save the game for Rain or Shine. Naturalized American swingman Gabe Norwood (196-1985, college: GMU) added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Rain or Shine players scored in double figures. Rain or Shine's coach Yeng Guiao rotated fourteen players in this game, but that didn't help. NLEX RW moved-up to third place. Loser Rain or Shine dropped to the ninth position with five games lost.
