B3 League top team - Shizuoka (33-4) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Veertien Mie (13-24) in Yokkaichi 84-65. The best for the losing side was American forward Josh Martin (201-1995, college: Santa Clara) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 19 rebounds and his fellow American import Eugene Artison (206-1995, college: USAO, agency: One Motive Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shizuoka have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 33-4 record. Newly promoted Veertien Mie keeps the tenth place with 24 games lost. They share the position with Shanan Utd. Shizuoka will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
