Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Ehime OV (18-21) won against 7th ranked Kagawa FA (11-28) in Takamatsu 100-90 on Sunday. Ehime OV shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198-1990, college: LBSU) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and point guard Takumi Furuno (179-1993) accounted for 17 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Ehime OV players scored in double figures. American Kyle Richardson (200-1991, college: Portland St.) came up with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-1996) added 18 points and 6 assists respectively for Kagawa FA in the defeat. Kagawa FA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ehime OV moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams.
