Regular Season Round 21: Dreamers - Steelers 80-95

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Dreamers (7-13) were defeated by bottom-ranked Steelers (4-17) 95-80 on Sunday. Steelers forced 20 Dreamers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-1987, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds. Naturalized American point guard Jeremy Lin (191-1988, college: Harvard) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists. Five Steelers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Chun-Chi Lin (175-1998) who recorded 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and American center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) added 19 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Steelers maintains sixth place with 4-17 record. Loser Dreamers keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Steelers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dreamers will play again against Steelers (#6) in Kaohsiung and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
