Regular Season Round 38: FE Nagoya - Yokohama BC 79-85

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Yokohama BC (22-15) won against on the road 5th ranked FE Nagoya (18-19) 85-79 on Saturday. American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Devin Oliver (204-1992, college: Dayton) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. International Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) responded with 9 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Hiromu Nakamura (176-1997) scored 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Yokohama BC maintains second position with 22-15 record behind leader Shimane SM. FE Nagoya lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the third place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Osaka E. and Shinshu BW. Yokohama BC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. FE Nagoya will play again against the league's second-placed Yokohama BC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
