An exciting game was when Second ranked Aquas faced one of their biggest challengers GhostHawks. Aquas (11-5) smashed GhostHawks (8-8) 118-90. They outrebounded GhostHawks 50-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. Aquas looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by GhostHawks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) fired 30 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) produced 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-1991) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four GhostHawks players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aquas have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 11-5 record having just one point less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. GhostHawks at the other side keep the third place with eight games lost. Aquas are looking forward to face league's leader N.Taipei CTBC at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GhostHawks will have a break next round.
