Regular Season Round 14: Satya Wacana - Evos Bogor 65-50

Satya Wacana has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Evos Bogor (1-7) 65-50 on Saturday. They outrebounded Evos Bogor 43-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. American forward Shemar Johnson (204-1996, college: Stillman) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman Mervyn Lindsay (201-1993, college: TxWes) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Johnson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Jamaican center David Haye (183-1994, college: SUNY Delhi) responded with 14 points and center Padre Hosbach (193-1997) scored 2 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Satya Wacana left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with defeated Evos Bogor. It was Evos Bogor's fourth loss in a row. Satya Wacana is looking forward to face higher ranked NSH (#13) in Jakarta in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Evos Bogor will play on the road against Prawira and will have a slim chance for a victory.
