Rather expected game when 6th ranked Sea Horses M. (12-23) lost on the road to third ranked Gunma CT (19-14) 87-72 on Saturday. Gunma CT outrebounded Sea Horses M. 34-20 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) who scored that evening 16 points and 8 assists and naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-1981, college: Evergreen St.) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Gunma CT players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 7 rebounds by American power forward Davante Gardner (203-1991, college: Marquette) did not help to save the game for Sea Horses M.. The former international forward Yudai Nishida (188-1999) added 14 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gunma CT maintains third position with 19-14 record having 2 victories less than leader Shimane SM. Loser Sea Horses M. keeps the sixth place with 23 games lost.
