Regular Season Round 36: FE Nagoya - Akita NH 55-74

Another interesting game for Akita NH (19-16) which played on the court of FE Nagoya (18-17). Fourth ranked Akita NH had an easy win 74-55. Akita NH outrebounded FE Nagoya 51-33 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Steve Zack (211-1992, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St.) who added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Johnathan Williams III (206-1995, college: Gonzaga) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and international Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Akita NH have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 19-16 record. FE Nagoya lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Tochigi Brex. Akita NH will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. FE Nagoya will play again at home against Akita NH (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
