Regular Season Round 36: Shiga L-Stars - San-en NP 79-87

Very expected game when 8th ranked Shiga L-Stars (4-31) lost at home to fourth ranked San-en NP (15-20) 87-79 on Saturday. San-en NP looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by center Kyle OQuinn (206-1990, college: Norfolk St., agency: Pensack Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 25 points and 6 rebounds by forward DeQuan Jones (203-1990, college: Miami, FL) did not help to save the game for Shiga L-Stars. Forward Kelvin Martin (196-1989, college: Charleston So.) added 15 points. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Shiga L-Stars' coach Luis Guil rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. San-en NP maintains fourth position with 15-20 record, which they share with Kyoto H. Shiga L-Stars lost eighteenth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 31 games lost. San-en NP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Shiga L-Stars will play again against San-en NP (#4) and hope to secure a win.
