Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked FE Nagoya (18-16) was outscored at home by first ranked Chiba Jets (30-4) 92-72 on Sunday. Chiba Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward John Mooney (206-1998, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Chiba Jets' coach John Patrick used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. International Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Jeremy Jones (201-1996, college: Gonzaga) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for FE Nagoya in the defeat. Five Chiba Jets and four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. Chiba Jets have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 30-4 record. FE Nagoya lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Akita NH. Chiba Jets will meet league's leader Yokohama BC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. FE Nagoya will play against Akita NH and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
