Regular Season Round 10: Al Riyadi - Al Ashrafiyah 109-75

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Al Riyadi (6-4) crushed bottom-ranked Al Ashrafiyah (1-9) in Amman 109-75. They outrebounded Al Ashrafiyah 45-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. Al Riyadi shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Al Ashrafiyah's players. The former international swingman Nader Suleiman (187-1992) scored 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Ahmad Obeid (197-1990) chipped in 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Terrence Joyner (190-1988, college: MVSU) responded with 27 points and 4 assists and Mohammad Al Buheiri produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Al Ashrafiyah's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Al Riyadi maintains third position with 6-4 record having four points less than leader Orthodox. Al Ashrafiyah at the other side stay at the bottom place with nine games lost.
