Regular Season Round 2: Rain or Shine - TNT Tropang 100-105

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Rain or Shine in Manila. Hosts were defeated by TNT Tropang 105-100. Rain or Shine was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized American guard Michael Williams (188-1991, college: CS Fullerton) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Jalen Hudson (198-1996, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American guard Michael Qualls (197-1994, college: Arkansas) replied with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 17 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Rey Nambatac (179-1994) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Rain or Shine. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TNT Tropang will play against NLEX RW in Makati City in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rain or Shine will have a break next round.
