Regular Season Round 31: Shimane SM - Nagoya DD 77-84

An interesting game for Nagoya DD (22-8) which played road game in Shimane against their biggest opponent Shimane SM (23-7). Third ranked Nagoya DD managed to get a 7-point victory 84-77. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Shimane SM. It was a great evening for American power forward Scott Eatherton (206-1991, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). His fellow American import forward Coty Clarke (201-1992, college: Arkansas) helped adding 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side Australian Nick Kay (206-1992, college: MSU Denver) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Nagoya DD have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 22-8 record having just four point less than leader Hiroshima D., which they share with Ryukyu GK. Shimane SM at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Nagoya DD will play against Ibaraki R. (#6) in Mito in the next round. Shimane SM will play on the road against Shiga L-Stars (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
