Very predictable result when first ranked Hiroshima D. (25-5) won against on the road 8th ranked Shiga L-Stars (4-26) 88-73 on Wednesday. Hiroshima D. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Nick Mayo (206-1997, college: EKU, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Hiroshima D. players scored in double figures. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) came up with 28 points and 9 rebounds and Filipino guard Kiefer Isaac Ravena (181-1993) added 8 points and 8 assists respectively for Shiga L-Stars in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hiroshima D. have an impressive series of nine victories in a row.
