There was a small surprise in Nanjing where thirteenth ranked Loongs (13-13) defeated 11th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (13-13) 94-82 on Sunday. Loongs looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. American point guard Kahlil Felder (175-1995, college: Oakland) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 15 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Shuai Yuan (194-1994) chipped in 30 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Loongs players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Antonio Blakeney (193-1996, college: LSU) with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and forward Zhou Zhao (198-1995) scored 18 points. Jiangsu Dragons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Loongs moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Jiangsu D. Jiangsu Dragons lost third consecutive game. Loongs will meet at home bottom-ranked Rockets (#20) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Heroes (#7) and hope to secure a win.
