Regular Season Round 30: Nagoya DD - Shiga L-Stars 85-62

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Shiga L-Stars (4-25) were crushed on the road by fourth ranked Nagoya DD (21-8) 85-62 on Wednesday. Nagoya DD outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 41-30 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American forward Coty Clarke (201-1992, college: Arkansas) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Filipino guard Ray Parks (193-1993, agency: BIG) chipped in 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nagoya DD moved-up to third place, which they share with Ryukyu GK. Shiga L-Stars lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 25 games lost. They share it with Niigata A.. Nagoya DD will meet league's second-placed Shimane SM on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shiga L-Stars will play against the league's leader Hiroshima D. (#1) and hope to secure a win.
