Regular Season Round 17: Fubon Braves - Lioneers 92-94

The most exciting game of round 17 in the PLeague+ ended with only two-point defeat of 3rd placed Fubon Braves (7-8) to fourth ranked Lioneers (7-8) 94-92 in the game for the third place. Lioneers forced 23 Fubon Braves turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Kuo-Hao Kao (179-1998) contributed with 25 points and 6 assists for the winners. American power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 20 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) added 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lioneers moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves lost fourth consecutive game. Lioneers is looking forward to face league's leader Kings in Taipei in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fubon Braves will play at home against Steelers and are hoping to win this game.
