Bottom-ranked Rockets managed to get the second consecutive victory on Tuesday night. This time newly promoted Rockets won against sixth-ranked Sharks in Ningbo 106-97. And what about a second win in a row after ...twenty consecutive losses. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sharks. Rockets looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-1994, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists and Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (208-1992) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Zhelin Wang (214-1994) with 21 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Melo Trimble (190-1995, college: Maryland, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 18 points and 5 assists. Four Sharks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Rockets maintains twentieth position with 2-20 record. Loser Sharks dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Shenzhen L.. Rockets will meet at home higher ranked Guangsha Lions (#9) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sharks will have a break next round.
