Regular Season Round 25: Fukuoka R. - Chiba 86-90

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Fukuoka R. (10-17) was defeated at home by second ranked Chiba (22-5) 90-86 on Sunday. Chiba dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Fukuoka R.'s 36 and made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Chiba had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Evan Ravenel (204-1989, college: Ohio St.) stepped up and scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds.
