Regular Season Round 27: Chiba Jets - San-en NP 85-69

Leader Chiba Jets delivered the twenty second victory. This time they beat 5th ranked San-en NP (11-15) 85-69. Chiba Jets players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. San-en NP was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-1993) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 9 assists. American guard Christopher Smith (193-1994, college: Utah St.) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American center Kyle O'Quinn (206-1990, college: Norfolk St., agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Ryusei Sasaki (180-1996) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for San-en NP. Four San-en NP players scored in double figures. San-en NP's coach Branislav Vicentic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Chiba Jets (22-4) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. San-en NP at the other side keeps the fifth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Tochigi Brex and Kyoto H.. Chiba Jets will play against Sea Horses M. (#6) in Kariya in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. San-en NP will play on the road against the league's leader Hiroshima D. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
