Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tokyo: Koshigaya A. (#2) and Tokyo Z (#7). Tokyo Z was crushed at home by 36 points 54-90 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Koshigaya A. outrebounded Tokyo Z 41-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Brekkott Chapman (206-1996, college: Weber St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import center Isaac Butts (208-1989, college: App State) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Addison Spruill (195-1993, college: UNCW) answered with 15 points and point guard Tsubasa Kurihara (180-1997) added 10 points in the effort for Tokyo Z. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koshigaya A. (22-6) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Saga B. Tokyo Z lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 23 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
