Regular Season Round 25: Yokohama BC - Gunma CT 95-82

An interesting game for Yokohama BC (15-10) which hosted in Yokohama 3rd placed Gunma CT (13-10). Second ranked Yokohama BC managed to get a 13-point victory 95-82. Yokohama BC dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Gunma CT's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and the former international guard Yuki Kawamura (169-2001) accounted for 22 points and 10 assists. Four Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. American center Kaleb Tarczewski (212-1993, college: Arizona) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) added 22 points and 9 assists respectively for Gunma CT in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yokohama BC have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kawasaki BT. Gunma CT lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with ten games lost. Yokohama BC will again meet at home Gunma CT (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Gunma CT will have a break next round.
