Rather predictable result when third ranked Shimane SM (19-6) won against at home 7th ranked Toyama G. (6-19) 83-69 on Friday. Shimane SM looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) nailed a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists for the winning side and Australian Nick Kay (206-1992, college: MSU Denver) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Shimane SM players scored in double figures. American forward Brice Johnson (206-1994, college: UNC) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Cody Demps (193-1993, college: Sacramento St.) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for Toyama G. in the defeat. Toyama G.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shimane SM have an impressive series of five victories in a row.
