Rather expected game when 7th ranked Hokkaido L. (7-18) lost to fifth ranked FE Nagoya (14-11) in Sapporo 70-74 on Friday. American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) nailed 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Jeremy Jones (201-1996, college: Gonzaga) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds. American-Finnish forward Alex Murphy (206-1993, college: Northeastern) came up with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Hokkaido L. in the defeat. Four Hokkaido L. players scored in double figures. Hokkaido L.'s coach Kenichi Sako tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted FE Nagoya maintains fifth place with 14-11 record. Loser Hokkaido L. dropped to the eighth position with 18 games lost.
