Regular Season Round 14: Kings - Dreamers 99-90

An interesting game for Kings (9-3) which played against 4th ranked Dreamers (5-6). First ranked Kings managed to get a 9-point victory 99-90. Kings outrebounded Dreamers 55-42 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Kings' coach Ryan Marchand used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman SirDominic Pointer (198-1992, college: St.John's) replied with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) added 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for Dreamers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kings have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-3 record. Dreamers at the other side keep the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Lioneers. Kings are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Steelers (#6) in Kaohsiung in the next round where they are favorite. Dreamers will play at home against Lioneers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
