Everything could happen in Taiyuan at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Loongs and 10th ranked Jiangsu Dragons had identical 9-7 record. This time Loongs used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Nanjing 101-86 on Sunday night. Loongs forced 19 Jiangsu Dragons turnovers. Strangely Jiangsu Dragons outrebounded Loongs 44-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Kahlil Felder (175-1995, college: Oakland) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 assists and 5 steals. Ning Zhang (192-1997) accounted for 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. American guard Antonio Blakeney (193-1996, college: LSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Jiangsu Dragons in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jiangsu Dragons' coach rotated twelve players saving starting five for next games. Loongs (10-7) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Shandong H. and Shanghai S. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side keep the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Jilin NE T. and Qingdao E.. Loongs will meet higher ranked Aviators (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jiangsu Dragons will have a break next round.
