Rather expected game in Mito where 8th ranked Ibaraki R. (6-17) was defeated by fifth ranked Tochigi Brex (11-12) 68-64 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Yusuke Endo (185-1989) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Tochigi Brex's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Kohei Fukuzawa (177-1993) added 17 points respectively for the hosts. Four Ibaraki R. players scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Shinshu BW. Loser Ibaraki R. dropped to the seventh position with 17 games lost.
