The game between fifth ranked GhostHawks (5-5) and 6th ranked Leopards (1-8) in Tainan ended with biggest points difference. GhostHawks beat Leopards 105-96. GhostHawks shot 22 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Leopards only scored six points from the stripe. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Leopards' players. Leopards were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-1991) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five GhostHawks players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) responded with 43 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the former international guard I-Chieh Su (181-1987) scored 17 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GhostHawks moved-up to third place. Leopards lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. GhostHawks' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tainan GhostHawks.
