Regular Season Round 22: Tokyo HT - Toyoda 64-81

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Toyoda's (8-16) road victory over 12th ranked Tokyo HT (9-15) 81-64 on Friday. Toyoda dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo HT's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and German center Yasin Kolo (208-1992, college: Bellarmine) chipped in 19 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Takehiro Yamaguchi (182-1994) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Tokyo HT's coach Keisuke Hirose rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory Toyoda went down to twelfth position due to points difference, which they share with Shanan Utd. Loser Tokyo HT dropped to the ninth place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
